Brand Essence
During our brand strategy session, we focused on laying out Marysa's brand story, values, brand voice, target audience and so much more. One of my all-time favorite elements of the brand strategy phase is uncovering a brand's keywords. For Uprise Pelvic Health, those keywords included:
Approachable
Professional
Knowledgeable
Calm
Entertaining
Educated
Confident
Caring
Project Details
We provided Uprise Pelvic Health with all the basics for a strong rebrand:
Behind the Design
We took a delicate approach for the visual identity elements. The colors are warm and soft, while the fonts have wispy characteristics and a feminine feel.
The custom icon features a pelvic shape that was created with similar line weights as the primary font. The sun rays expand out in a nod to the word “uprise”. Marysa’s clients are encouraged to rise up for their pelvic health, find healing and bring light to their pain and pelvic health struggles.
The overall look is custom, upscale, professional and refined—yet still very safe, approachable, uplifting, and welcoming.
Color Theory
The color palette for Marysa's rebrand leaned into the feminine theme. We kept it soft with a modern appeal using warm and dusky shades of pinks and mauves and gold, with a dash of a sage grey color to add depth to the brand. During the brand strategy phase, we don't just pick colors we like. We always research the psychology behind the colors to make sure that the impact they will have on our emotions.
Sage Grey: calm, reliable, soothing
Dusty Rose: warmth, affection, compassion
Soft Pink: love, tranquility, vulnerability
Light Gold: enlightens, inspires, uplifts
Ivory: calm, comfort, simplicity
Accent Font
One thing that was unique for this brand, was the implementation of an accent font as a brand element. We wanted to really lean into the feminine style of this brand by adding a script font, however sometimes script fonts can be a little bit hard to read. We intentionally chose this font to be used for simple headings with minimal words to ensure legibility and be a nice elegant touch—like a cherry on the top!
Beyond the Logo
Anytime we create a new logo for a client, we always present it in ways that they may see it in real life. Rarely does anyone see your logo on a plain white background with no other context. These are just a few ways that Marysa can implement her brand in real world scenarios.
